By signing the Code of Conduct, the listed VET institutions commit themselves to offering good quality education to international participants. They guarantee the quality of the information and education they offer to this group. An independent National Commission supervises compliance of the stipulations of the Code of Conduct by taking the initiative to conduct enquiries and by processing complaints and leads. In this respect, it may give recommendations and take measures.
The National Commission consists of three members, appointed by the umbrella organizations, this equally applies to the substitute members. One of the members is appointed substitute chairman. Furthermore, the members of the Commission appoint an independent chairman. For the duration of the pilot scheme Mr Cor Boom will act as the independent chairman.
The Commission meets periodically and operates according to the regulations set in the Code of Conduct, the Rules and Regulations and the Attendance Fee Decree.
