In the recent months, experience has been gained with the recruitment and admission of international students in level 4 studies in Vocational Education and Training on the basis of the conditions that apply to the pilot code of conduct incoming mobility VET level 4. Based on this, external advice was sought by the National Commission and the MBO Council. After discussing the recommendations, the parties involved in the pilot code of conduct incoming mobility VET level 4 have decided to lower the minimum English language requirement from an overall band score of IELTS 5.0 to an overall band score of IELTS 4.5. The amended provision came into effect on 1 December 2017 and will be evaluated.
